Welcome to the IMB Payment API integration guide. Follow these quick steps to start building your financial application with our robust APIs.

Create a Merchant Account

Sign up at IMB Payment Portal and complete your business KYC verification.

Generate API Credentials

Navigate to Dashboard → Developer → API Keys to generate your x-client-id and x-client-secret.

Whitelist Server IP Addresses

For security, add your application server's static IP addresses under Security Settings → IP Whitelist.

Test in Sandbox & Go Live

Use test parameters on https://sandbox-api.imbpayment.in/ to verify integration before switching to production endpoints.

📋 Integration Checklist Before Going Live
  • Store API Credentials securely in server environment variables (never in client JS).
  • Implement automated retries with exponential backoff for 5xx responses.
  • Configure callback webhooks and verify HMAC SHA-256 signatures.
  • Enforce HTTP timeouts (recommended 15-30s per request).
